This Heritage Day, join us at the Vitality HealthyFood Studio as we celebrate the vibrant flavours and traditions of Mzansi. Our Seven Colours of South Africa menu is inspired by the diversity of our people, cultures and tables... all coming together in one delicious feast.
We'll start with a caramelised onion tshotlho taco, a healthy traditional pulled beef delight paired with a refreshing glass of homemade gemere. Explore a buffet-style starter spread before diving into mains that celebrate the heart of South African cooking: a sizzling monkeygland T-bone steak, tender gochujang-glazed chicken thighs, and aromatic Cape Malay-style ostrich.
The sides bring colour and creativity to the table: grilled baby potatoes with miso garlic sauce, charred cabbage topped with goat's cheese raita and fresh chilli cucumbers, and sizzling carrots with hazelnuts, smashed avocado, pomegranate rubies and mint.
To end on a proudly South African note, indulge in a naartjie and cardamom milk tart with a cinnamon crumble - a sweet tribute to heritage and home.
