From June there may be updates to your Vitality benefits. Here's what you need to know.
From June there may be updates to your Vitality benefits. These are being done as part of our continued efforts to better align our offerings with your needs, and our ever-changing health and technological environment.
- 1. Vitality 65+ members will no longer have access to the HealthMonitor Device benefit at Dis-Chem, due to low uptake of the benefit. The HealthyCare benefit continues as normal for these members. Please be aware this benefit does not apply to Vitality Active members.
- 2. We launched the Vitality Home Workout Channel during the COVID-19 pandemic and will end it in June 2025. You will no longer earn Vitality points for online workouts through this channel. Be sure to utilise your 2 free visits on Vitality Fitness to find classes and workout options you love or join your nearest Virgin Active or Planet Fitness health club.
- 3. For those tracking their physical activity on Android devices, please be aware that Google has announced plans to de-commission GoogleFIT in the future. Impacted members will need to link Google's new platform, Health Connect to Discovery. Look out for more communications on this process.
