Please note that a complaints form can only be submitted after you have used our first time query channels. If you haven't done so yet, you can get fast assistance through our Get Help Service, available on our website.

If we have not resolved your query, please complete our online complaints form. One of our skilled Client Relationship Managers will get in touch with you.

To contact the principal officer

If you're still not satisfied with the resolution of your complaint after following the process in step 1, you can escalate your complaint to the Principal Officer of Discovery Health Medical Scheme.

You may lodge a query or complaint with Discovery Health Medical Scheme by completing the online form.

To lodge a dispute

If you've received a final decision from or on behalf of Discovery Health Medical Scheme and want to challenge it, you may lodge a formal dispute.

Complete the online form and email it to mydispute@discovery.co.za or call 0860 99 88 77 to discuss your dispute.

The Council for Medical Schemes regulates medical schemes, including Discovery Health Medical Scheme.

You can contact the Council at any stage of the complaints process, but we encourage you to follow any of the steps above to resolve your complaint with the Scheme first before contacting the Council directly.
