In a groundbreaking move for one of South Africa's most sought-after races, Discovery Bank clients will get early access to a limited allocation of entries - offering clients an opportunity to secure a spot 72 hours before entries open to the public on 1 August 2026.
For the first time in the race's history, runners will be able to bypass the ballot for the Totalsports TWO OCEANS MARATHON powered by BYD, provided they are qualifying Discovery Bank clients
Early access entries are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis starting 28 July 2026 at 10am and concluding at 9:59am on 31 July.
To qualify for the early access new clients must successfully apply for, be approved, and hold an active qualifying Discovery Bank product by 23:59 on Sunday, 26 July 2026.

The Totalsports TWO OCEANS MARATHON powered by BYD sells out every year, with demand consistently outstripping supply. For the first time in the race's history, qualifying Discovery Bank clients will be able to secure entry without going through the ballot, providing greater certainty to plan their race journey ahead of general entry. Entries are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis per client via www.twooceansmarathon.org.za.
