Join Discovery Bank or Discovery Insure between 1 October and 31 December 2026, and you could qualify for a fuel reward of Ð5,000 (that's R500).
Here's how to get it:
If you're already a Discovery Bank client (before 1 October 2026):
- Activate a qualifying Discovery Insure policy with Vitality Drive
- Use your Discovery Bank virtual card to spend R500 or more on fuel at bp or Shell during the campaign period.
If you're already a Discovery Insure client (before 1 October 2026):
- Join Discovery Bank with Discovery Bank Suite, Credit Card Account, Transaction Account or Ðiscovery Account
- Add a virtual card
- Use your Discovery Bank virtual card to spend R500 or more on fuel at bp or Shell during the campaign period.

- The Vitality Money fuel reward will change to up to 15% back on fuel spend at bp or Shell.
- Uber will no longer be a Discovery Bank standalone partner. To keep enjoying up to 25% back on Uber rides, join Discovery Insure today.
- Gautrain will join as a Discovery Bank partner. Qualifying clients can start earning up to 65% back on spend at Gautrain.
Activate Insure in a few taps
You don't need to go anywhere else. You can activate Discovery Insure with Vitality Drive directly in the Discovery Bank app:
- Log in to your Discovery Bank app.
- Tap the product menu at the top of your Home screen.
- Select Insure.
- Follow the prompts to activate your cover.
